Russia's Putin to visit Iran by year-end
According to TASS news agency, Russian President Vladimir Putin plans to visit Iran by the end of this year.

Russian President Vladimir Putin is expected to travel to Iran before the end of this year, Presidential Aide Yuri Ushakov told reporters on Thursday.

He maintained that Putin s visit to Iran is planned, where a trilateral Russia-Iran-Azerbaijan meeting will be held.

The exact dates for the visit were not stated by Putin s Aide, only that it will take place before the end of this year.

Some media outlets have quoted Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov as saying that the date of the visit is November 1.

The first Iran-Russia-Azerbaijan trilateral summit was held in Baku in August 2016, where Vladimir Putin, Ilham Aliyev and Hassan Rouhani discussed joined economic projects and regional security issues, particularly, the North-South Transport Corridor project.
