Iranian squad crowned champion in world event
Iranian team became champion in the 2nd World Taekwondo Federation (WTF) President’s Cup 2017 in Athens, Greece.
  

The Iranian athletes snatched four gold and one bronze medals in the competitions.

Armin Hadipour in -54kg, Mohammad Kazemi in -58kg, Mir Hashem Hosseini in -63kg and Abolfazl Yaqoubi in -68kg bagged gold medals and Sajjad Mardani won a bronze medal in +87kg.

Iran won the team trophy, which is decided based on results over the four days of the competitions.

Russia ranked second with three gold and two bronze medals and Spain stood in the third place, bagging one gold, two silvers and one bronze.
