OIEC to launch feasibility study for development of Sepehr field
Tehran, May 9, IRNA -- National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) and Oil Industries' Engineering and Construction (OIEC) on Tuesday signed a deal for feasibility study for development of Sepehr Field.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by the two sides on the sidelines of the 22nd Iran International Oil, Gas, Refining and Petrochemical Exhibition (Iran Oil Show 2017), that is underway at Tehran International Fair Ground.

The NIOC Deputy Chief for Development and Engineering Affairs Gholam-Reza Manouchehri and Managing Director of the OIEC Behzad Mohammadi were signatories to the agreement.

The OIEC is one of the qualified E&P companies in Iran active in the upstream oil sector and operation of phases 20 and 21 of South Pars and Azar Field.

Addressing the signing-in ceremony, Mohammadi said oil extraction from Azar joint field will reach 30,000 bpd in coming days.
